2010 Houston Via Colori
AOL is proud to be this year's presenting sponsor for the 2010 Houston Via Colori® Street Painting Festival coming up November 20 - 21. Celebrating its fifth anniversary, Via Colori showcases the talents of 250 artists as they create pastel murals directly on the streets of downtown Houston. This partnership gives us the opportunity to connect with a local grassroots event through creativity, technology and community.
We have invited AOL employee artists and art lovers to this event to help spread the word about our brand and its commitment to creativity. As a featured artist at the event, AOL's Jon Gamel, winner of our internal AOL Art Contest and now an AOL Artist, will paint a 10'x10' square representing the creativity behind the AOL Artist community.
All proceeds from the event will benefit The Center for Hearing and Speech. For more than 60 years, the Center has taught deaf children to listen and speak for themselves. Our partnership helps to offer the Center a platform to inform a much larger audience about hearing loss and the communication options available for hearing-impaired children.
