Jason Gnewikow

Jason Gnewikow

Based in Brooklyn, NY, Jason Gnewikow is an art director, designer, illustrator and musician. He works on all manner of projects ranging from art direction, illustration, and branding to animation, broadcast design and web design.

Jason spent a good portion of his twenties making records and rambling around the globe as guitarist for indie pioneers The Promise Ring, developing an obsession for the work of Vaughan Oliver and designing record sleeves. After getting band life out of his system, Jason decided it was time to shift focus from music to design; he packed things up and moved east to Brooklyn. In 2004, along with a small cadre of like minded individuals, Jason founded the Brooklyn based design collective Athletics. His client list includes Epic Records, New York Magazine, Puma, Kenmore, Oak, Jet Blue, DKNY Jeans, True/Slant, Michel Gondry, and PacSun. When time permits he also runs the boutique clothing line Jason Nevikov.
