James Wojcik

James Wojcik is an advertising and editorial still-life photographer who resides in New York City. He graduated from the Art Center College of Design in 1981. Mr. Wojcik's photographs have appeared in such periodicals as Vogue, The New York Times, Newsweek, French Vogue, GQ, Time, Vanity Fair, and Allure.

He has photographed advertising campaigns for Nike, Gap, D&G, Clinique, and Revlon, to name a few. In 1998 he won an Alfred Eisenstaedt Award for Magazine Photography for his cover of Twice magazine. He was nominated the following year for his 10-page story in House and Garden. His photographs have been exhibited at Diechtorhallen Hamburg, Galerie Isabelle Bongard, La Galerie Maeght, Bonni Benrubi, Paolo Baldacci. Mr. Wojcik's photographs were also featured in Blindspot issues #6 and #20. He recently finished his latest series titled Bottles and Pipes, inspired by the 18th-century West Indies trade.
