HuskMitNavn

HuskMitNavn (RememberMyName), born 1975 in Copenhagen, has made his name both in Denmark and on the international scene with his controversial, humorous and political art. Probably best know for his work in public space he skillfully realizes his work of characteristic figures and comments all across Europe.

HuskMitNavn’s manifestations include street posters, graffiti, T-shirts, drawings and illustrations for a whole range of media. The naive, strikingly stylized figures in HuskMitNavn’s universe, egg-headed and sausage-limbed, have passed into the common image bank. HuskMitNavn has held solo exhibitions in numerous galleries including A.L.I.C.E. Gallery in Brussels, Gallery V1 in Copenhagen, Charlotte Fogh in Århus, and LaViolaBank in New York City. In February 2008, he made a prodigious mural and collection of paintings for the San Carlos Museum in Mexico City for a special project headed by the Danish Queen. He was recently featured in Arena Magazine as the most influential person in Danish art.
