Dee & Ricky

Dee & Ricky

In true bildungsroman fashion, Dimietrus and Ricardo Jackson, born and raised from a humble pedigree, dodged the unforgiving Arlington projects on Staten Island to build their own namesake brand. It all started with a dire passion to be artists and creatives, dedicating themselves to being sartorial curators of their own Fashion, music and art empire.

They’ve done it all, from releasing an EP with their dance group, Jackson Swinton, to designing the eclectic accessories that garnered the attention of renowned fashion designer, Marc Jacobs. They have an apparel deal with Pony, where they design limited edition sneakers and sportswear. They’ve also designed a bike with BMXer Dave Mirra, set for a spring 2012 release. Most recently, they've opened their own Brooklyn restaurant, Dee and Ricky’s Home Cooking. Their pieces can be found at select boutiques around the world, including Barney’s, Colette Paris, Joy Rich, Vinny Styles, and Foot Locker. The twins are entrepreneurs, to say the least, and have taken the downtown creative arts scene by storm. You can catch them on any giving day with features in Vogue, Teen Vogue, Nylon, Paper, and Elle magazines, in advertisements for Nike, Grey Goose, Supreme, Pony or sitting front row at Fashion week.
