Cody Hudson

Cody Hudson is a Chicago based artist who also serves as owner and creative director of the design firm Struggle Inc. Known for the production of clean, multi-dimensional graphics, Cody's design aesthetic is part urban modernism, and part organic visual deconstruction.

His graphic work and paintings have been exhibited throughout the US, Europe and Japan including the Museum of Contemporary Art (Chicago), New Image Art (LA), Rocket Gallery (Tokyo), The Lazy Dog (Paris), and Andrew Rafacz (Chicago).

What motivates you? The need to get through another day. Any wise words of advice? Work hard, focus on your craft, don't make a career out of imitating other peoples styles, be nice to your family, try to be a better person, be honest with yourself. Good topics for party talk? 2012, burmese cats, The Decline of Western Civilization, Ellsworth Kelly, 4ft mini ramps, Spacemen 3, the end times, acid house. Favorite things to do when not creating? Sleeping. What would the ultimate job be? Lifeguard.
