After graduating in 2007 From Duncan of Jordanstone College of Art with a degree in Graphic Design and Typography, Andy packed up his kilt and headed for London where he spent 3 years working as a Visual and Interaction designer at Native Design. There he worked on global projects for the likes of LG, TomTom, Hewlett Packard, and Audi.

In April 2010 Andy Jumped at the chance to Work at Smart Design in their Barcelona Studio, during this period he has been lucky enough to experience both Smarts studios in New York and San Francisco where he continues to expand his mind within the world of visual and interaction design. Andy energetic and loves to have fun and puts this at the heart of his creative expression, drawing on rich visual design with thoughtful user experience. Andy can often be seen taking a photo at the most obscure moment and loves to get his hands dirty with the odd sand castle and isn’t frightened of using a little chrome to smooth the chaos.
